Aquatics Academy

TSLC Aquatic Academy consists of our Olympic standard 50-metre, eight-lane outdoor swimming pool, 25 metre eight-lane swimming pool, toddler's and children's pools and is considered one of the finest aquatic facilities in Asia. The Academy offers a variety of programmes for people of all ages and levels, as well as customised coaching from our team of instructors with over 40 years of coaching experience from the National level all the way up to World Championship level. The programme ranges from aqua aerobics and recreational lap swimming to competitive swimming and coaching for a range of sports including triathlon, surf lifesaving and water polo. First Aid and Lifeguard courses are also offered through our training centre.

Our Team

simon jonesSimon Jones – Director of Aquatics Academy 
A leading swim coach who has developed eight world-class swimmers including one World and Commonwealth Games champion. Recently he worked in Hong Kong as the Head Coach of the Hong Kong Island Stingrays swim team and holds an Australian Swim Coaches and Teachers Association (ASCTA) Silver License and has a MSc. in Exercise Physiology.
 
 
 
 
RandyRandy S. Simon – Head Coach
A passionate coach who inspires junior and age group swimmers to achieve their goals and aspirations throughout USA, Australia and Asia. He is a Level 2 certified American Swimming Coaches Association Coach and holds an International Bronze Coaching License awarded by the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association.
 
 
 
 
annaAnna Pirie-Jones – Head of Learn to Swim
Our inspirational learn to swim manager has a wealth of experience and pure love for teaching swimming and water safety to babies, beginners and children. She is certified by AUSTSWIM and SWIMAUSTRALIA to teach the important life skill of being able to swim and safe around water.
 
 
 
 
aomAom (Pattida) Kaewkue – Assistant Swim Coach
A versatile coach, with an infectious smile and personality, Aom is natural at motivating and inspiring children to learn to swim and develop as a junior competitive swimmer. Fluent in both Thai and English, she is certified by SWIMAUSTRALIA and Thai Swimming as a Level 1 coach and instructor.
