JEANNE OZORIO – Chief Finance Director
Canadian Jeanne is at the helm of reviewing the entire financial performance of the Thanyapura group of companies. She has proved her credentials with more than 20 years experience of accounting and controlling finances in the hospitality sector, leaving her well placed to manage the financial performance of Thanyapura’s 14 companies covering hotels, a school, sports complex, security, management service, organic farming and sales and a travel agency. Her love of travelling took her from her native Canada to Asia, where she has held prominent financial roles for hotels and resorts across Indonesia, Hong Kong and Thailand.
SIRIMA ROJPRASITPORN – Director of Business Development
Thai national Sirima Rojprasitporn is well placed to drive Thanyapura’s business forward thanks to her excellent track record in the luxury hospitality sector. Her experience and knowledge of the sector was honed while working for hotels such as the Raffles Grand Hotel D’Angkor, Siem Reap and Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Phnom Penh, Kandooma Resort in the Maldives and at Bangkok institutions like the Millennium Hilton, The Peninsula and The Metropolitan. Educated in Lausanne, Switzerland and at the University of New Haven, Connecticut, Ms Sirima is ready to build up the brand’s key hotel and resort offerings while looking for prestigious sporting and lifestyle companies to bolster the Thanyapura vision of a unique total health approach to wellness and fitness.
CRAIG JOHNS – Director of Sport Academies
Swimming and triathlete expert Craig has a reputation of excellence in sport project development, a reputation he is rapidly proving he deserves as Sport Academies Director at Thanyapura. An experienced athlete himself – he was a member of the New Zealand Triathlon Team World Championships for four years and has gained numerous certificates and qualifications in swim coaching and life saving – he has also successfully co-ordinated sports meets, galas and competitions. With a BSc in sports science, and experience working within cycle and run AT testing, functional performance testing, body composition, video technique analysis and sports massage, Craig is now studying for a MMgt in Sport Business Management.
PROF. DR. MICHAEL KLENTZE – Chief Medical and Scientific Officer
Dr Klentze graduated from medical school in Munich in 1976, and completed his Ph.D in 1984. Dr Klentze holds qualifications in Neurochemistry, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Endocrinology and Diabetology. In 1996 the Klentze Institut was founded, specializing in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. In the following years Dr Klentze became a sought-after speaker in aging and preventive medicine, and has continued to remain on the cutting edge of medical science with extensive involvement in stem cell and genetics applied in clinical medicine. Dr Klentze current is the Chief Scientific and Medical Officer (CSMO) of the Klentze Medical Faculty, medical training company, specializing in Anti-Aging, Preventive and Regenerative medicine, and also at Thanyapura Integrative Health Center (TIHC) since 2012. Dr Klentze has held several notable positions including: Secretary General of the European Society of Preventive, Regenerative and Anti-Aging Medicine between 2003-2009; Senior Professor at Mae Fa Luang University, Bangkok, Thailand; Visiting professor at Udayana University in Bali and at UCSI University in Kuala Lumpur; Scientific advisor at Pfizer in Germany between 2005-2008 for clinical applications in anti-aging medicine; International Medical Director of Vitallife Corp. Ltd (Bumrungrad Hospital) from 2009 to 2011.
SUDANONG SAMANTARAT – Director of Human Resources
MBA graduate Ms Sudanong is renowned for her strong work ethic and energetic enthusiasm for her work, thanks to her many years experience in the human resources sector for the hospitality industry. A Thai national, fluent in English, Ms Sudanong was a natural choice for Human Resources Director at the Thanyapura Sports & Leisure Club. Her previous role as Human Resources Manager for Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa saw her hone her skills in HR planning and forecasting, performance management, talent management – including an online recruitment programme – and HR profit and loss control. Prior to this position, she developed her people management skills for other illustrious resorts including JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa and Andaman White Beach Resort in Phuket.
DENNISON MCKINNON – Head of School
A leading global educator, Dennisson is a visionary in the International Baccalaureate (IB) field. A former IB workshop leader and site visitor, he sat on the Primary Years Programme committee for IB North America and was one of the architects of the IB’s Primary Years Programme, developing the original learner profile. A proud holder of both a first-class honours degree and a master’s degree in education – with majors in educational administration, curriculum studies and the philosophy of education. Dennison also has wide-ranging global experience as principal or head of school. Most recently he was the principal and CEO of the Codrington School, the International School of Barbados, an IB World School, but he has also taught in international schools in Zambia, Sri Lanka, Greece, Germany and the Bahamas.
